we’re the auckland roller derby league (ardl)

ARDL is committed to fostering the growth and development of roller derby in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

We’re a diverse, welcoming and dedicated WFTDA-affiliated league. Our goal is to grow our community of tenacious skaters and non-skating members into a community where everyone has the chance to reach their potential.

We aim to be at the forefront of Australasian roller derby, with a focus on gaining, maintaining and improving our WFTDA ranking. To achieve this we’re dedicated to sustainably growing our league and developing our next generation of skaters.

All of our members, skater or otherwise, are highly valued. Everyone is expected to contribute to the advancement of the league, to show commitment and ownership, to be supportive of their league mates and to be kind.

Our core value is ‘Teamy Teamness’. This encompasses our sense of community, our supportiveness both on and off the track, our competitiveness, our passion and our drive to push ourselves and our teammates to our limits.
